We are not in Kansas...

Find humor in everything you do.

Yesterday on the way home from work (I live 10mins from school) the rain started to come down HARD! On Rt. 302 I saw a back up and in front of the back up I could see a tree had come down. So I (along with 5 other cars) turned down a side road to go around the tree blocking the road. While going through the side road we drove under a leaning tree...scary! Driving away I see a tree fall in my back window. That means...NO TURING BACK! We got back on Rt. 302. (This is by George's Pizza for anyone who knows the area.) Then not even a half a mile down the road there was ANOTHER tree down and all 5 of the cars turned around looking for another way out. We went down at least 10 different roads trying to get back on to a main road. Every time we turned around another car would take the lead...thinking they knew another road to take. We ended up adding a bunch more cars to our "tour of Newtown." Whenever we would start down a road we thought would lead there, a car would come from the other direction waving to ALL of us to turn around. We ended up going through areas I never knew where there. I think we went through another town too! Then we ended up on Rt. 25 near Shop and Stop. CRAZY!! This is totally out of the way. Then when we got on Rt. 25 it took another 30mins. to get home. Let me remind you 10mins. to normally get home turns into an hour and half. AHHH!!! lol

Oh yeah and then when we get home NO POWER! haha!

Lesson of the day...
If in doubt just LAUGH!

Miss Maggie is growing up! Any excuse to party! Just a side note... she calls her Grandfather Gradma! HAHA! I love it! That man never thought he would be a GrandMA when he was growing up.

Click to see more of Miss Maggie.

Jan's little grandson is soo cute! She wins best Grandma Award! Wouldn't you love to bring your kid to your parents or inlaws house and then... have them send you out for the night and while you are out they hire a photographer to take photos to give as a gift! How sweet is that!

yes we are from CT

HAHA! It was a snow day on Friday. I almost forget what snow looked like!

Anyway... so on our snow day we decided to take out the snow shoes. As we were snow shoeing we realized we could either snow shoe in Fairfield Hill Trails....OR snow shoe down the road to Starbuck. Can you guess which direction we headed? HAHA! We are such dorks! Who snow shoes to Starbucks!

It must have been a sight to all of those driving by...the 2 of us snow shoeing with our Lattes!

No more "Prom Pose"

Why is it that everyone feels they have to line up in a row when taking prom pictures? Why is it that the same guy who take the school photos that you did not like is taking your prom pictures?

Lets redefine "Prom Pose." I had some fun with a group of Bethel girls getting ready for their semi-formal. We had a great time and took some fun "fashion" pictures for them to keep to relive the night again.

Interested in having pictures that will capture the excitement of your dance? I thought so. Check out more of Bethel's fabulous girls!
