Crib Shots

She only naps in her crib during the day. I know I want to get her in the crib to sleep... but she doesn't sleep through the night yet and its so easy just to roll over and feed her. But look how cute she is in the crib!

Yoga Baby

We just got back from Maine! No time to unpack... we had to get up early for Baby Yoga!! (I really am enjoying my time off with Riley! We are living each moment up.)

Today Riley and I did Baby Yoga and it was soooo FUN! We did the Tree pose...Lotis pose... OH YEAH!! She loved it! It wore her out. She sleep the rest of the afternoon.

First Vacation

Wish us good luck. We are going up to Maine to visit The Maunsell Family! This is Riley's first big trip...AHH!! :)

Busy Weekend

Sunday Riley had he 1st baby shower to go to! Liz had a beautiful shower up in Litchfield. Sylvestor (one of the names we are calling him now but not for real...or is it??) has so many wonderful treats waiting for him.

After the shower we went to the LaBet's house to play. Riley loves visiting all of her friends! She doesn't like to sleep when we are out...she wants to be apart of it all!!




On Monday we went with the Cotes (no Mia Cote this time) to Mystic Seaport for a little day trip. Riley had so much fun! This was our little trip to get us ready for Maine!

Casagrande Hats

The other day...we went over to play with Riley's cousin David. We bought David a hat that is like the hat his Great Grandfather (our Uncle Fat) used to wear. He looks soooo cut in it!! Riley was fashioning a hat that had watermelons all over it, in honor of our Great Uncle FO.

Riley and her bigger (only by 6 months...but right now what a difference!) cousin David are learning to play nice! haha!




Look at the proud Mommies and Grandmothers. Sorry GG and Grand D (spelling???) GG is my mom's name...short for Grammy Gail. Grandy is my Aunt's name...her last name is D'Andrea... so Grandy or Grand D... get it! lol Awww the Grammies are so cute and clever! haha!

Mia Cote

Riley loves her Mia Cote! While Riley enjoyed her 1st Sycamore treat this weekend...Mia Cote waited in the car. (Britta did too!) Poor puppies! But Riley loved her chocolate chip pancakes!!!! MMMMMMM!! Gotta love breakfast at the Sycamore!
We felt bad for Mia Cote... so today we took her for a walk around the schools. She kinda walked Tracey! haha! Mia Cote kept walking into Riley's stroller and we kept running her over but she didn't care. Mia Cote is the best!!

Tax Day

"Next year little Riley is going to be our big tax write off." That's what Ryan told his baby girl when we woke up this morning. Don't worry Riley...you are more than just a write off to me! haha!

Family Tummy Time - Gotta love the way we spend our Friday nights now. It is a new kind of fun! lol

little help

When Riley cries for MOMMY or DADDY... I sometimes feel like crying for MOMMY or DADDY. My parents are helping out so much. I don't think we could do it without them. They were here all day Sunday helping us. (Yeah having a baby, going back for my 6th year, Ryan working on his BEST and having a life...lol fun times!) Helping with school work, house cleaning and a min. to breath... THANK YOU! We treated them today with a little Dr. Mike's ice cream to say thanks... even though we know that isn't enough. :)

3 hour Stretch

Tonight when you go to sleep think of all those new moms out there. I do not sleep more than 3 hours in any given time. I would love to roll over and fall back asleep but instead I am woken up to this cute little face wanted to be fed then burped. Lucky for her she is so cute.

So next time you see a mom walking around really not put together like she used to... remember not to make judgments and think when I am a mom I will never be like that. Instead think of what you would look like after only 3 hours of sleep a day for a long time...and think WOW! on 3 hours of sleep she looks really good!

1 month old

1 week late for our 1 month post


We have decided to take photos of Riley every month by the famous GREEN door! We will be able to watch how she grows from stretched out on a blanket on the floor to jumping up to reach the handle. Pretty soon!!! lol

I think it is crazy to think that only a month ago we were wishing for the magic dirty baby drawer that they had at the hospital. After being spit up on a billion times... it really isn't that bad, it washes off. She is totally worth a few stinky shirts! But the magic drawer would come in handy for the explosive POOP!!

Newtown Ice Cream Shop

We made it to OPENING DAY at the Newtown Ice Cream Shop!!!

Living only walking distance from the YUMMY Newtown Ice Cream Shop is dangerous! Anytime anyone comes over... we have to walk to get Ice Cream.

Jimmy (the Ice Cream Shop's biggest fan... haha! I didn't mean that to be funny but it is!) and Brian (Mr. Large soft serve vanilla which is bigger then Riley) do not like to walk BUT they will for this yummy treat!

Let the ICE CREAM SHOP session begin!

my baby

My apologizes to all the blog readers... I have been slacking. I have tons of posting to do... hopefully tomorrow... but no promises. I have been spending all my time with my baby girl. It is so hard to put her down to get time to put stuff up on the blog. I would rather play with her then add to the blog. My baby girl is the best and soon... I promise I will share more photos and stories about her.

In the mean time... She is 1 month and weighs 8 lb 4 oz and is 20 1/4 inches tall!! She is getting "so big!"
