Big News!! Riley is crawling! She started on Monday and is now everywhere! We have to really get on baby proofing the house now... we thought we had a few more months. She is only 5 1/2 months old! AHH!! She is following me into the bathroom... crawling into and under tables... oh we are in so much trouble!! We thought it was crazy in our house before. Good bye to all those "quiet" moments forever!

Concert in the Park

Kaelyn joined us at the concert in Ridgefield this week. Riley is all about Kaelyn. She watches her every move and tries to reach to hug her. Which is great because Kaelyn loves her baby Riley. She is defiantly ready to be a big sister.


Kaelyn is already teaching Riley to talk on the phone. What else is she going to be teaching Riley to do?
Crawl? Oh yea she is crawling everywhere now... its only really been a day or so. AHH!

We have a great time at the park with all of our friends...



And we wore ourselves out by the time we left... Ready for a good night of sleep!

SIENA

My college roomie Meris and our friend Donny came over for a BBQ today. We were laughing about how all of our lives have changed sooo much since college. I don't think mine has changed all that much. Riley entering our lives is not a real adjustment at all...we are still up at 3am ...we nap whenever we can ...we can lay around in our PJs all day and think nothing of it. Yeah see life hasn't changed.

When I was little we would have Sunday MACCARONI at Grammy's house every week. We stopped at her house on the way to the ZOO and Riley told her she can't wait to eat maccaroni... soon Riley soon!

Going to the Zoo

Riley went to Bridgeport's Beardsly Zoo with Kaelyn. This is the zoo down the road from my Grammy's house that I went to when I was growing up. Kaelyn loved looking at all the animals... Riley loved looking at Kaelyn. Whenever we would stop Kaelyn would ask to hold Riley. She thought Riley was one of her dolls. It was so funny to watch the 2 of them. Riley loved being man-handled by Kaelyn. She would laugh and reach for more. It was so cute. Oh yea we saw animals at the zoo too! (in the farm exhibit they have a "Barn Cat" as one of the animals you look at...yes an actual Barn Cat... very impressive!)

Rained out BBQ

We were going to have a bunch of the families over from the baby group for a little BBQ but it was rainy and thundering all day so we had to post-pone it. However a few of the mommies had already bought yummy desserts, so we had to try them out. Sophia and (the other) Rylee came over with their families despite the stormy weather. We hung out inside while the storm passed. We had fun exchanging sleep deprived stories.





When everyone Riley was pooped out so we were able to relax with a movie. We saw a really good movie that Ryan and I would recommend... Defiantly, Maybe. It received good ratings by other people too! It is hard to explain but it is a romantic, mystery, comedy... yeah I said hard to explain. But it is not one of the cheesy romantic movies that we end up watching and being like EHH afterwards. This was really good. So next time you can't think of anything to watch...here you go.

Happy Birthday Keri!

For Keri's Birthday gift to ME...Ryan gave me the night out. This does not happen often.

Keri were friends since middle school. We became good friends when we were in grad classes together at Sacred Heart and then started working together at Rockwell. Keri was my maid of honor in my wedding a few years later. Keri and I both share a good addiction to Head Over Heels...however with her new apartment, I am not sure where she is going to store all of her fun accessories. That doesn't mean she shouldn't add to her collection.

Anyway for Keri's Birthday we enjoyed a fine dinner at the Italian Festival in Danbury then drinks at Putnum House. At the end of the night, Ryan came with Riley to pick me up. Riley had fun being passed around meeting everyone. (She was up anyway because it was her mid-night feeding...no she still does not sleep through the night!) I hope Keri, you had a great birthday surrounded by her family and close friends.

Happy Christening Colin

We went to Jen's (Ryan's sister) in-law's house to celebrate the Christening of their son Colin. Colin is Riley's 6 week old cousin... who is already bigger then she is! He is a cutie too!!

Riley loves showing everyone how she can walk. Funny girl...she would rather be standing then anything else. I hope this isn't saying anything about what we are in for with Riley as she grows up. AHH!

Look at this...we had to tell Riley who is only 5 months old to be gentle with the baby! haha!

Happy Birthday AnnnnaBannnannna

Happy 30th! Happy night out on the town! We had a blast celebrating Anna's birthday with her. We enjoyed CarBombs, dancing and pool without Riley. But we did pick Riley up to enjoy a litlle late night diner run! Who know turning 30 could be so much fun!!!

Life is Good Fair

GG (Grammy Gail: the Life is Good Queen...some people think that she only wears Life is Good shirts) brought Riley and I to the 1st Life is Good Fair in Ridgefield. They had a lot of fun activities for the kids. We had fun and relaxing time just walking around...gotta love the summer!
